Ashleigh Rose Photography is a dynamic sister duo. When you book with us, you'll either get Ashleigh or Margot, depending on who’s available—or both of us for busier shoots.

We've built up a loyal client base, primarily through word-of-mouth referrals. Our deep connection with clients on a personal level has made ARP a respected name in the industry. 

At ARP, our main goal isn't to gather social media followers or clients en mass; instead, our focus is on offering a more personalised photography service where we take the time to get to know you, and build a relationship that spans over the years.

I'm the older one, although you wouldn't say ;) Married with children, I understand first hand, the trials and tribulations that come with balancing a busy work-from-home life, and know all too well, that life doesn't always go as planned. 

With a BA Degree from Rhodes University; plus 12-years working experience in a strict corporate office environment, you can rest assured that you are dealing with someone who is extremely capable and professional. 

For over 11 years, photography has been my full-time obsession. On weekdays, you'll find me at the computer, personally editing your images or managing admin tasks (admittedly not my strongest suit). Weekends and evenings are when I come alive behind the lens, capturing moments that tell a story. When I'm not working, I'm striving to win the mother of the year award - a title I'm still chasing. 

Equipped with bucket-loads of empathy, humour, a shoulder to cry on,and an ear to vent  to (I'm like the bartender who wears a lot of hats) I'll be your go to person on the day. I have a keen eye for detail, composition and aesthetics. More than just a technically sound image, I want to make sure that everyone looks great and feels confident, knowing that I'm directing you in ways that are going to bring out the best of your shoot.

is the extrovert of this quirky, sister pair. She's genuinely a people's person (who grandparents in particular, just love) and will put you at ease from the get-go. 

With a B.Ed Senior and FET phase Degree to her name, as well as being a full-time English teacher during the day at Crawford - you know she's going to be good with kids, especially with her 'outside voice'.. She is incredible when organising and keeping people calm and relaxed during your time with us/her. 

When available, Margs is a talented photographer with a keen eye for capturing magical candid moments.  She has the reflexes of a ninja and is able to get the money shot every time. She draws people out of their shell's and even succeeds in getting the most reluctant of 'subjects' to feel comfortable in front of the camera.

Like her team member Ashleigh, Margot photographs solo or as a team - depending on the setup.
