Have you got a little one with a big personality, or even a little one with a shy and gentle disposition? We love photographing all little ones and capturing their unique personalities and spirits.  If you have older children, we can even do some beautiful BFF shoots. There really is no limit to the reasons for wanting a photo shoot of your children done. Ashleigh Rose Photography has a fully equipped home-studio and are equally skilled at outdoor photography too - so we're game for most suggestions.

When you're pregnant it feels like forever, but as all moms can attest - it's all over way too quickly when you think back onthat time. The state of being pregnant is such a beautiful and special event, and while you may not always feel comfortable, one day your child is going to want to see how mommy looked when they were in your tummy. Children have rose tinted glasses when it comes to you, so any images of you are such a treat. You too, will be amazed at how your body changed to accommodate the growing life inside of you. Grab some pics of your baby bump before the due date, and if booked in conjunction with a newborn shoot, Ashleigh Rose Photography will offer you a loyalty discount.

The most frequently spoken words about babies, besides them being absolutely gorgeous and that they smell so good, is that they grow so fast. This is why we term this shoot newborn. From birth until about 10 days, babies still retain that straight out of the womb look. We want to capture that, because it's lost all too quickly. Even if you have opted not to have a maternity or birthing shoot, a newborn shoot is up there with one of the must have shoots.  Ashleigh Rose Photography provide lifestyle shoots that can be captured in the comfort of your own space without being too intrusive or too overly scripted. We capture your real, authentic images as we see them.

We have a package you can purchase in advance which allows you to book 4 x 30-minute milestone shoots for your growing little one. Typical shoots would include: baby rolling over onto their tummies and holding their heads up; baby crawling; baby sitting unassisted or; baby walking unassisted. These really are such cute little shoots to indulge in, and we offer beautiful books to accompany these stages.

Don't forget the first haircut, first tooth lost, first day of school, first puppy. There are so many firsts that Ashleigh Rose Photography would love to capture.

 Cake smashes are very definitely one of the most popular photoshoots to date. The reasons for this range from parents wanting a beautiful stylised collection of images to cherish of this VERY important milestone, or because it's a  shoot that allows you to pull out all the stops in terms of creative concepts. Cake smashes are so deliciously colourful and cute. And nothing beats a baby and cake. Am I right?! 

Ashleigh Rose Photography has various options available to suit your requirements. We have even taken the headache out of procuring a cake and outfit by providing this option too, if time allows. Not into cake? Suggestions for other alternatives are always welcome. And bear in mind, turning one is not just limited to baby humans, but fur babies too.

Birthdays never get old. Well they do, but the joy and excitement they bring is something we never outlive. Big milestones such as traditional and religious rites of passage are so very important. This is also a day that you've spent ages planning all the necessary. Leave the most important part of this occasion, which is capturing the ceremony and post party celebrations, with Ashleigh Rose Photography. We've photographed many such ceremonies, from Greek Orthodox Christenings, to small home dedications, to Bar/Bat Mitzvahs. Each captured while taking care to be respectful and unobtrusive. Ashleigh Rose Photography will make sure the celebrant/candidate and those nearest and dearest, get their moment to shine as they should.

These events are great bonding moments before the big day, and you'll want to make sure that every detail is captured - especially if your friends and family have spent a lot of time and money on languishing over every detail of your event. There's no better reason to have some beautiful couple photos taken, than the celebration of your love.  If you're engaged, this also makes for some lovely images to add to your wedding save the dates / invitations or table decor. This session centres on the couple and Ashleigh Rose Photography will go out of their way to grab some beautiful combinations and poses that will pull on your heartstrings.

Weddings are arguably the biggest day in anyone's life and we aim to reflect it as so. From start to finish, you'll know how important this day is for Ashleigh Rose Photography too. From taking your enquiry, to handing over your final images - we will travel this journey with you. When it comes to capturing your memories, we aim to capture every detail as we see it happen - so that even although you can't be everywhere on the day, you'll never miss out . Our end goal is to have something beautiful and evocative that you can look back on long after your big day, and still feel the splendour of the occasion. The biggest occasion on any Grade 12 / Matric learner's calendar. The Matric dance! We can capture those beautiful images of your child as well as the rest of your family and friends depending on the package you opt for.

A popular trend is to hire a photographer for the pre-matric dance drinks or pre's as it's more popularly referred. This allows for a whole group of matriculants and their parents, to be photographed at the same time. This setup makes for such a fun and boisterous occasion.

Food doesn't always translate well in photos and this is why it takes some skill to make a meal look amazing. While I may not be formally trained in food styling or special effects and can't make a yummy bowl of ice-cream with coloured mash potato and glue - I can certainly make your dishes look delicious and inviting.

Decor too is wonderful to photograph and should you need photos I'm more than willing and able to assist.

We are more than willing to exchange photos for certain services i.e. no actual money involved. 

 However the benefit to us should not be limited to exposure alone, unless of course you're as famous as Mr Beast. If it's a service I require; or for items I would ordinarily use or am keen to try; I am more than happy to discuss further and come to an arrangement

If you require 'in-house' photographic services for social media marketing purposes , Ashleigh Rose Photography is happy to come to an arrangement that will be mutually beneficial.

Boudoir photography is touted as an empowering and confidence building shoot - for females in particular. And yes, it can definitely be all those things, depending on the photographer you choose. As a 40-something year old mom, wife and working woman, whose body is loudly celebrating it's descent down this slippery slope of ageing, I know first hand how awkward I feel when posing or even worse, trying to look sexy - and that's just looking in the mirror; never-mind posing in front of someone else.
